I often read various blogs, news articles and other published works pertaining to Judaism. I like to keep up with the goings on in the tribe. In doing this, I read many pieces which are written by unintelligent and underqualified individuals on topics which their minuscule brains simply cannot comprehend. When I read these articles, I always had commentary I wish I could have added. This commentary would clarify those ideas and concepts that author had written, just like Rashi did. And then I said let there be the Modern Rashi blog, and there was the blog. And I saw that the blog was good, and I separated between the intelligent and the unintelligent. And it was also good.

Having lived in the Jewish world all my life, and experienced the ins and outs of many different orthodox Jewish communities of all different levels, I feel fully qualified to provide critical analysis on a variety of issues facing the Jewish world. When I say "Jewish world" I mean "orthodox Jewish world" as Conservative, Reform, Re-constructionist, Heavens Gate Judasiam or any other sect is false, and therefore unimportant and will most likely not be discussed. Whatever you read on this blog will be cold-hard-fact. If for some reason at any point you find yourself at all disagreeing with anything I write, it is most likely because you are intellectually inferior, and therefore cannot comprehend the deep topics which will be discussed on this blog. If you don't feel the above description applies to you, the other possibility is you are a Jewstrich.

   a Jew with the severe mental disorder which when faced with reality, will bury his/her head in the sand. In doing so, a Jewstrich will convince themselves that the reality in front of them (usually an uncomfortable one), doesn't really exist. Native to Five Towns and Teaneck, but can be very often found in many other Jewish communities around the world.

Origin

The Americanized version of Hebrew yĕhūḏī, from yĕhūḏāh ‘Judah’ (Jew) combined with ostrich: from Old French ostriche, from Latin avis ‘bird’ + late Latin struthio (from Greek strouthiōn ‘ostrich,’ from strouthos ‘sparrow or ostrich’). This word first appeared on the Modern Rashi blog, circa early 2015 C.E.

This blog will also be a forum for me make fun of all those individuals who think they are quite clever, however, in reality, are quite stupid.

I will comment on various topics on my blog. You can find these comments in BOLD. This style of commentary will henceforth be known as Modern Rashi style™. I will insert these comments as I feel they are needed. My method of where they will be inserted will remain private as your puny little brain most certainly wouldn't be able to comprehend the advanced reasoning behind it anyways. This is the purpose of my blog. There will be posts which feature entire articles where I have gone and dissected, or you may see just a couple of my Modern Rashi style™ comments in random places.
