Rabba Eden Farber is a top halachic authority of our generation. She will therefore have the honor of becoming a "regular" on my blog. Her halachic expertise starts with Andrea Dworkin's book, Pornography: Men Possessing Women, and continues with her extensive knowledge of various "halachic" texts distributed by the JOFA. Her comprehensive knowledge of halacha has given her the authority to start paskening on various different issues which she feels differently on, than those who have orthodox smicha. Due to her being a great Gaon, she has earned herself the title of Rabba. Rabba is what the JOFA has decided should be what female Rabbis are called. I guess the letter "I" was too masculine for them.
In addition to her halachic prowess, she happens to be an excellent writer. She has been featured in the Atlanta Jewish times, the JOFA Journal (of course), V'Tzivanu blog, theFBomb.org and Modern Hippie Magazine, another great halachic work. At times, her writing style can get annoying, as each sentence is it's own paragraph. When you read her articles and see this, I don't want you to get the idea that I broke her writings up in such a special way. Nonetheless, she is a very talented writer.
